CBD, on the other hand, binds to both the CB1 and CB2 receptors and is known to reduce pain and inflammation, as well as reduce anxiety and stress, both of which can cause sleep disturbances. It is believed to be the product of degradation of THC, and is known to have similar effects to THC but with a much weaker potency.
